Great North Run 2018

Update: As of Monday 2nd July, we have filled our allocation of spaces for the 2018 Great North Run, taking place this year on Sunday 9th September, and the registration portal is now closed. Please get in touch with us if you would like more information about participating in next year’s event on behalf of MS Research and Relief Fund.

We are going into the event with a team of thirty runners and are asking that all participants commit to raise a minimum sponsorship of £250, which can be raised in a number of ways, both on- and offline. There is no upfront entry fee for participants and every penny you raise will go towards improving the lives of people affected by Multiple Sclerosis across the North East of England.

MS Research and Relief Fund will provide you with full help and support along the way. We will provide you with a bespoke MSRRF running vest and we will be partnering again with the MS Society to offer our runners access to a premium tent after the race, with food, drinks and massages all available for free, as well as support during your run from an official cheer station along the route. You can view pictures from last year’s Great North Run in our Gallery.

Entries for the 2018 Great North Run are now closed. To join the waiting list for the 2019 event, please email to register your interest.
