MS Research and Relief Fund is returning to the fairways for 2019 and it's going to be bigger and better than ever before!
This year, we'll be hosting three golf days across the North East to form the MSRRF Golf Series, with events at Arcot Hall, Linden Hall and Beamish Park, all to raise vital funds to support our free-of-charge services for people with MS. Participants are welcome to try their hand at all three events, or pick and choose events as they please.
Below are some photos from last year's event at Arcot Hall, more photos from previous years can be found in our gallery.
Each event is open to teams of four players and all the profits will support MS Research and Relief Fund's vital services in the North East and throughout the UK.
All events will be played over 18 holes to Stableford rules with a Shotgun start.
We will offer a small discount to any teams wishing to play all three events. Please email Jon at firstname.lastname@example.org for further information.
Entry fees also include prizes for the winning team, prizes for 'Longest Drive' and 'Nearest the Pin' on specific holes, hot dinner, presentation evening with MC and an auction and raffle for the chance to win fabulous prizes.
In June 2018, 20 teams took to the course at Arcot Hall for MS Research and Relief Fund's Fourth Annual Golf Day. We were spoilt - not only by gorgeous weather through the day - but also the generosity of the players, who helped us achieve a profit of £3,007, a charity record for this event!
The day was captured by Daniel Walker who put together the following video, featuring shots from the day and an interview with MSRRF Fundraising Manager Dan Nelson.
