MS Research and Relief Fund is returning to the fairways for 2020, visiting a brand new venue as well as keeping up a classic.
This year, we'll be hosting two golf days across the North East, at Beamish Park on Thursday 7th May and at Arcot Hall on Monday 6th July, all to raise vital funds to support our free-of-charge services for people with MS. Participants are welcome to try their hand at either or both events.
Below are some photos from previous MSRRF golf events at Arcot Hall and Linden Hall - more photos can also be found in our gallery.
Each event is open to teams of four players and all the profits will support MS Research and Relief Fund's vital services in the North East and throughout the UK.
All events will be played over 18 holes to Stableford rules with a Shotgun start.
Each event will also include prizes for the winning team and runners up, prizes for 'Longest Drive' and 'Nearest the Pin' on specific holes, hot dinner, presentation evening with MC and an auction and raffle for the chance to win fabulous prizes.
In June 2018, 20 teams took to the course at Arcot Hall for MS Research and Relief Fund's Fourth Annual Golf Day. We were spoilt - not only by gorgeous weather through the day - but also the generosity of the players, who helped us achieve a profit of £3,007, a charity record for this event!
The day was captured by Daniel Walker who put together the following video, featuring shots from the day and an interview with MSRRF Fundraising Manager Dan Nelson.
