The flagship three-day Coast to Coast Challenge will take place between Friday 17th – Sunday 19th May 2019. We are looking for 18 cyclists and are aiming to surpass the record breaking 2018 sponsorship total of £13,500, all to improve the lives of local people affected by MS.

The route we'll take travels from the Irish Sea through the Lake District and the Pennines before finishing at the North Sea at Tynemouth. All participants will be fully supported every step of the way and we are committed to ensuring riders have the experience of a lifetime. This is a perfect opportunity for anyone who been thinking about cycling the Coast to Coast to give it a go and, in the process, raise money for a great cause.

Riders will start at Workington, Cumbria and finish at Tynemouth, North Tyneside. Registration is £95 with a further £300 payable eight weeks before departure. This will cover transfers to the start, all accommodation, all food, guides, luggage transfers, backup and medics. There is no fundraising target, but suggested minimum is £500 per person. This is an iconic challenge that is tough but achievable by anyone who prepares well.

All money raised will go directly towards the services offered by MS Research and Relief Fund – providing relief to people with Multiple Sclerosis and their carers in the North East.
