Covid-19 November 2020 Update

Following recent guidelines issued by the UK Government, MS Research and Relief Fund will be closed for Fitness and Therapy services from Monday 2nd November 2020. Our small team of administrative staff will however continue to work from Benmar House.

Should any of our service users, or anyone with MS who may be new to the Charity, wish to contact us, for any reason, please do so, we will be glad to hear from you and we will certainly try and support you in any way that we can, we know that these are very unsettling times, we want you to know that we are here for you.

Once the government allows, be assured we will have everything in place to get Benmar House up and running to once again enable access to our Free and COVID Secure Fitness and Therapy services.

We will be keeping in touch on all of our social media platforms so please check in and like and share our posts as it all helps with our fundraising and marketing efforts.

In the meantime please, Keep Positive, Keep Safe, Keep Well and Keep in Touch and we’ll see you all very soon.

Benmar House Re-opening

Following recent guidelines issued by the UK Government, MS Research and Relief Fund has re-opened Benmar House for FREE therapy and gym appointments. We will contact Service Users to make bookings for therapies and gym appointments and our new procedures for attending can be found here. Benmar House has been made Covid-19 Secure, in accordance with Government guidance and a copy of our Staying Covid-19 Secure 2020 certificate can be found here. We will provide outreach services and when we have the appropriate plans in place and it is safe to do so, any updates will be shared on our social media platforms. Thank you for your understanding, keep safe.

Neil Black former Performance Director of British Athletics and Patron of MSRRF.

It is with great sadness that we announce that one of our Patrons, Mr Neil Black sadly passed away in April 2020.

Neil had been a Patron with MSRRF since 2015 and after retiring last year was looking forward to being able to spend more time up North and being able to offer even more of his time and support to the very valuable work of MSRRF. He will be sadly missed.
