Benmar House is MS Research and Relief Fund's registered office and is the main centre of our operations. Open Monday to Friday, Complementary Therapies, Gym and exercise classes are all offered here throughout the week.
In addition to this, Benmar House is also home to MSRRF's main office, from where all of the Charity’s administration, grant and fundraising activities operate.

We offer a wide range of fitness activities in order to increase strength, health and mobility in our service users with MS. From toning equipment and Motomed exercise bikes to Pilates and Seated Yoga, there's something for every ability and every taste.

We went live on Facebook to give a tour of Benmar House, taking a look at the facilities and services we offer at our primary centre. You can view the tour below, led by Dan Nelson and featuring information from exercise instructor Leah Hall and therapist Amanda Logan.

All of the classes offered at Benmar House run on set timetables and are bookable by appointment only. We are continually reviewing our services and if we add any new classes for both service users and carers and these will be added to the timetable.

We facilitate a number of groups at Benmar House including Art, Craft, Carers and Voice MS. These are run in a variety of ways, some are by invitation only, some are one off courses, for more information please contact us.
The third Friday of every month, we are joined by a MS Specialist Nurse who is able to give consultations and professional advice to people with MS.
All of the services we provide are free of charge and are available to both people with MS and their primary carers. To benefit from our services, we will require a referral from your GP.

Please note that some Satellite Navigation systems will direct you onto the residential section of Choppington Road, through which there is no vehicular access to Benmar House. The entrance to Benmar House is directly off the A196 and is shared by Benmar House and Collingwood School.
Head for Morpeth town centre & follow the signs for the Railway Station. Stay on the A192 up the hill and under the stone railway bridge until you reach a large roundabout (locally known as Stobhill Roundabout).
Take the first exit onto the A196 Choppington, Guidepost road, after approximately 200yds take the 2nd left into the grounds of Collingwood School, then turn immediately left into our car park.
If using the A1, take the off ramp signposted for Morpeth (B1337) and follow the road through Clifton until you reach a roundabout. Go straight over (2nd exit) and continue following the road over a mini roundabout, passing the Sun Inn on your left, until you come to another mini roundabout at the bottom of the Station Bank. Take the 3rd exit, (A192), and go up the hill and under the stone railway bridge. Stay on that road until you reach another roundabout (Stobhill Roundabout). Head towards Morpeth on the A196, passing the Coopies Lane Industrial Estate on your right. Go over the stone bridge and past the entrance to Green Lane housing estate on your right, then take the next right into the grounds of Collingwood School and turn immediately left into our car park.
