MS Research and Relief Fund

MS Research and Relief Fund is a UK registered charity (No.228634) established in 1964 to support people affected by multiple sclerosis (or MS), a disease of the central nervous system, which can affect a persons mobility, their independence and their confidence, and can also the change the lives of their partners, families and friends.

Based in Morpeth, Northumberland, MS Research and Relief Fund aims to provide good quality information and a range of services to help people whose lives have been affected by MS to understand and cope with the condition.

We realise that most people seek information on what the condition means to them, what advances have been made in treatments, therapies etc. and where services can be accessed. To this end, we aim to provide practical advice and information on a range of topics, including some of the more practical issues such as welfare benefits.

Our Grants Service is available to groups and individuals to fund items or services that may fall outside the scope of statutory bodies. You can find more from our Grants section.

We provide a range of complementary therapies, provided by qualified practitioners, to people who can attend one of our MS groups in Other MSRRF CENTRES. Please contact us if you would like to make arrangements to attend one of the centers. Alternatively, we may be able to provide funding for your local group to provide similar therapies at a venue closer to where you live. In this case, please ask the group organiser to contact us to discuss how we might be able to help.
