One of the services offered by MS Research
and Relief Fund is financial grants towards the cost of aids, equipment or
services, which are awarded to individuals affected by MS and to groups in the UK supporting people affected by MS.
You can find out more about the different types of grants below. Alternatively, you can consult the Grant Application Guidelines.
Application forms can be downloaded from the menu on the left.
For further information on our application process, contact
us on 01670 505829, or by e-mail at
grants@ms-researchandrelief.org.

Individual Grants can be used to part-fund aids & adaptations, equipment or services,
which may help to relieve the symptoms of MS or improve the quality of life for people
affected by MS. Because of the diversity of MS, grants may be equally diverse according
to the needs of the individual. Read our Grant Application Guidelines for further details.
We can consider grants towards the cost of practical items such as adapted cars, wheelchairs,
home adaptations, powered scooters, stair lifts etc. In addition, we will also consider requests for
services which may make a significant improvement to the quality of life for someone with MS, e.g.
respite care, holidays.
MS Research and Relief Fund work with the MS Society on joint funding of individual grants. We may ask your permission to contact the MS Society to apply for part-funding on your behalf.
Applications can be submitted by individuals with MS, partners, carers, family members or advocates living in the UK.
